Pixar mocks alien abduction in Elio’s first trailer

pixar’s latest movie Original hits theaters this weekend — but we already have a new look at what’s in store for the company’s future. The studio released a teaser trailer for its next film, which is said to be a science fiction ElioAbout a young boy abducted by aliens. Instead of the usual UFO hijinks, he pretends he is the leader of Earth when confronted with an intergalactic group known as the Communiverse.

Elio directed by screenwriter Adrian Molina Coco, and stars Yonas Kibreb, Jameela Jamil and Brad Garrett as the foreign ambassador and America Ferrera as Elio’s mother. It hits theaters on March 1, 2024.
