Earlier today, Reddit said it respected the protest. Now we’re less sure.
Reddit’s fact sheet states that “we respect our communities’ ability to protest as long as mods adhere to our moderator code of conduct” and “we respect communities’ right to protest.” Basically, we took it at face value. As long as you don’t break the rules, you can protest. We’ve read your rules, and the rules don’t contain anything about this type of conflict or any other.
However, now you’re telling us by definition, this form’s protest breaks the rule. Therefore, by definition, Reddit does not support this type of protest.
