Nick Jonas Says Life Before Priyanka Chopra ‘Didn’t Exist’
On Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, a fan asked Nick Jonas what his first text to Priyanka was, and whether he’d ever DM’d other women to her before. In response, Nick said, ‘Life before Priyanka is a distant memory. It doesn’t exist. When asked what his first text was to her, Nick Jonas took his phone out of his pocket and said, “Let me see. I saved a photo of it.” She added, “I can even go to my DMs and it’s still there.” Shortly thereafter Nick showed the message to the camera and then read it out.
“I said something to the effect of, ‘Hey, I know we have a lot of things in common, friends in common, and I think we should meet’. And she quickly replied, ‘Nice to meet you, Let’s get off the DMs, let’s go to the text. My team will be watching’. Meanwhile, on Dax Shepard’s podcast, Priyanka Chopra revealed she was at the end of her last long-term relationship when Nick Jonas texted her in 2016. Priyanka didn’t want to get too involved with him at that time as she was 35 and he was 25. “I said, ‘I want to settle down. I’ve been there and had fun days.’ I was ready to get serious, not realizing that my husband is actually a 70-year-old man trapped in a 25-year-old’s body,” she said.
