Apple introduced its first mixed-reality headset, called the Vision Pro, during this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference. The speculations have apparently focused on the upcoming product line-up of the tech giant. Technology writer Mark Gurman is quoted in Bloomberg’s Power On newsletter as saying that Apple has three new wristwatch models in development, with model numbers N207, N208 and N210.
Two of these features are said to be included in the next-generation Apple Watch Series 9, while the third could be the Apple Watch Ultra 2nd Generation. Gurman didn’t say anything about the upcoming smartwatch, but considering how fresh the Apple Watch Ultra is, it’s safe to assume the business will stick with the same design aesthetic.
When it comes to iPads, rumors suggest that Apple is developing a new iPad Pro with an OLED display and an improved iPad Air to replace the existing M1-powered model. Also coming are the 13-inch MacBook Pro equipped with the M3 chip, the 14-inch MacBook Pro equipped with the M3 Pro, and the 16-inch MacBook Pro equipped with the M3 Max. Gurman said that the release of the new MacBook Pro model will happen at the end of the year or early 2024.
A new 24-inch iMac and a 30-inch-plus iMac Pro are reportedly in development. If this is the case, then the 27-inch Intel Mac Pro with Xeon CPUs will be phased out in favor of the new giant iMac. Gurman also hints at a third generation of AirPods Pro, an improved Apple TV, as well as the development of additional smart home products.
