‘Blind’ teaser out: Sonam Kapoor-starrer is all set to thrill you

New Delhi: The makers of upcoming thriller film ‘Blind’ unveiled the official teaser on Tuesday. The teaser was shared by OTT platform Jio Cinema on Instagram, which they captioned, “Evil comes in many forms, but truth also comes in many forms… Will Jia be able to overcome the darkness? #BlindOnJioCinema Watch from 7th July Free Streaming.”

In the teaser, Sonam can be seen chasing a serial killer despite being visually impaired. Directed by Shome Makhija, ‘Blind’ also stars Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, Lillete Dubey and Shubham Saraf.

The film is a Bollywood remake of the Korean crime thriller of the same name released in 2011, directed by Ahn Sang-hoon. ‘Blind’ is all set to stream on OTT platform Jio Cinema from July 7, two days before its birthday.

Soon after releasing the teaser, fans flooded the comments section with red hearts and fire emoticons. A fan commented, “After a long time Sonam…. excited.” Another fan wrote, “Finally @sonamkapoor back on screen.”

The film is presented by Geo Studios in association with RV Motion Pictures and Lead Films, Kanai, Avama and Cross Pictures Production.

Sonam was last seen in the film ‘The Zoya Factor’ opposite Dulquer Salmaan. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the film failed to impress the audience at the box office. She has been a part of many big films like ‘Raanjhanaa’, ‘Neerja’, ‘Players’, ‘Delhi-6’, ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, ‘Sanju’ and ‘Padman’.

Meanwhile, Sonam is currently enjoying summer in London with husband Anand Ahuja and son Vayu.

Sonam and Anand tied the knot on 8 May 2018 in a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony. In March 2022, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child. And on 20 August a son was born to them.

“On 20.08.2022, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy with heads bowed and hearts open. Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, friends and family who have supported us in this journey. It’s only the beginning, but we know our lives forever changed,” the couple posted.
