Ranbir Kapoor-led revenge action drama Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starring Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol among others, has been postponed. The film was scheduled to release on August 11, 2023, coinciding with the Independence Day weekend, but now it will not release on the said date. An official statement from the makers of the film will be released within a week.
Animal will release later in 2023
Animal is one of the most awaited Indian films of this year. The film presents Ranbir Kapoor in a never seen before powerful avatar. The pre-teaser of the film was released a while back, where Ranbir Kapoor’s character was confronted by dozens of golden masked men. While the reason behind Animal’s postponement is still not known, it is expected to release sometime in December. We haven’t confirmed a December release but Team Animal is looking into it. When the makers confirm the postponement of their film then they will reveal the official date. The team of Animal had a few meetings over the past few weeks and they finally reached a decision to postpone their film to a later date.
