During the post-match press conference, McCullum expressed his reluctance to share a beer with any member of the Australian team after his controversial run-out. He stressed the importance of maintaining the spirit of cricket and said, “I can’t imagine we’ll be having a beer with them anytime soon. We’ve got three Tests to try and win the Ashes. is where our focus lies. In the end, you have to live with the decisions you make, and that’s life.
