Kajol said that her films Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham have ruined the Karva Chauth festival for all men and women.
In a recent interview to an entertainment portal, Kajol said, “Karva Chauth in K3G and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge has spoiled Karva Chauth for all men and women. Now they have to wear nice clothes. Earlier, it was just a simple ceremony.” Suddenly Karwa Chauth has become this big event, a fashion deal where everyone has to dress up. Women have to wear jewellery, just sit like a shop. Hunger will do as long as you look good while you’re hungry.”
He further added that many women have approached him and confessed that they have ruined their Karva Chauth. He also mentioned that people are curious about how celebrities are celebrating the festival and even paparazzi gather outside their residences to see whether they have seen the moon or not.

Kajol played the role of Simran in DDLJ and vowed for Shah Rukh Khan before her marriage. To make the occasion memorable, they wore traditional attire and adorned themselves with royal jewellery. The festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm and grandeur at K3G in London.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kajol will next be seen in The Trial: Pyar Kanoon Dhoka, which is the Indian adaptation of American popular series The Good Wife. The series also stars Jisshu Sengupta, Sheeba Chaddha, Aamir Ali, Ali Khan, Kubbra Sait, Gaurav Pandey and Vijay Vikram Singh.
