Over the years, she has been making some very tough choices as a film-star. His show The Trial: Pyaar Kanoon Dhoka will release next week i.e. on July 14, 2023 on Disney+Hotstar. Director Suparn Verma reveals Kajol was hilarious on the sets of his show The Trial
In an exclusive Pinkvilla interview with Himesh Mankad, Kajol was asked if she would like to venture into the comic space anytime soon. Being a funny person, Kajol first said that she would love to do it, but then added that in real life she already does comedy on a daily basis. Suparn Verma was quick to say that people would die laughing if they got to see the behind-the-scenes footage of his show. Suparn then turned to Kajol and joked that Kajol should charge for behind-the-scenes footage and open an ‘onlyfans’ account to sell her comedy. Kajol laughed. She then admitted that it would be extremely unfair but it is still something she would consider (jokingly).
Kajol reveals she would love to film in the dark comedy space
Kajol was then asked if she is being offered projects in the comedy space and what keeps her away from the comic genre. The actress said, “Nothing keeps me away from the comic genre. To be honest, I haven’t been offered the kind of comedy that I really want to do. I don’t want to do Charlie Chaplin-esque (comedy)”. , though I would love to do that, but then it would have to be in black and white and a silent film. But, to be honest, I’d really like to do a dark comedy that’s more situational and that I can play with and I could do it. I think it would be awesome. I’d love to do it. If anybody has a script, I’d love to hear it.”
Kajol admits she is tired of doing emotional roles
When Himesh asked Kajol to offer a comedy film that would suit her, she said, “Absolutely. My next thing; I definitely want to do a comedy. Definitely. I’m tired of glycerine.” I recently told all my directors that if there is a bottle of glycerin, don’t even take close-ups. Take back-shots of me crying, where my shoulders are shaking. Just don’t take front shots.”
Where and when to watch the trial
