Former India skipper MS Dhoni turned 42 on Friday and wishes poured in on social media for the former skipper of the Indian cricket team. Dhoni, who stays away from social media, celebrated his birthday in Ranchi. Fans wished him birthday in different ways. To mark the special occasion, fans in Hyderabad on Friday put up a 52-feet tall cutout of Dhoni. Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh, Hardik Pandya, all wished the great man on his 42nd birthday by sharing pictures from their playing days.

Special birthday wishes also came from Ravindra Jadeja. Jadeja is a favorite figure in the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and he played a brilliant inning in the final of the Indian Premier League 2023 to guide the Chennai-based franchise to a record-equalling fifth title. Jadeja wrote about his friendship with Dhoni on Twitter and said that MSD has been his favorite person since 2009. At the end of the tweet, Jadeja made CSK and Dhoni fans happy by confirming that ‘Thala’ will play IPL 2024.
