We’ve got our second iPhone 15 color rumor of the week, and it looks like Apple’s upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max handsets will be coming in “unique dark blue with gray tones” — and we’ve got a picture mockup Got it too.
This comes from a seasoned tipster unknownz21 With MacRumors, and apparently based on information from inside Apple. The new shade is said to be designed for this year with the rumored titanium materials upgrade.
According to the leak, the new blue color will have a “brushed finish as opposed to the stainless steel that Apple has had in the past”. As we’ve mentioned before, the switch to titanium for the Pro model phones could mean that the handsets will become lighter.
Word is that this dark-blue-with-gray color is similar to the blue used on the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, but not exactly the same. However, this time, the shade is said to be darker and with more gray—so make of that what you will.

test test…
Remember that nothing is certain in the realm of rumours: Unknownz21 has also said This may be a test color configuration that Apple doesn’t use, so maybe don’t fall in love with this particular shade until it’s made official.
Furthermore, the same sources report that there are no red or ruby shades in the pipeline, which is another rumor we’ve heard this week. It appears that this Blue color will come along with Silver, Space Gray and Titanium Gray.
Don’t worry if you start to stray off track, as we’ve put together a comprehensive guide to all the iPhone 15 colors you can expect to see later this year. As always, the options will be different on the Pro model compared to the standard and Plus phones.
Assuming Apple sticks to its usual schedule, all four new handsets should arrive sometime in September. We’ve already had a number of leaks and rumours, including a prediction that there’s going to be a substantial upgrade in battery capacity.
