Image Quick Integration
Using the powerful AI technology behind Google Lens, Bard now understands image cues. Users can upload images via a camera icon on the search bar, allowing Bard to analyze the content and provide contextual assistance. For example, if users upload an image containing food, they can ask Bard to analyze the content and suggest recipes. Bard can also present the results with photographs.
Adjusting Bard’s Reactions
Unlike ChatGPT, which provides text-based responses, Bard prefers to present answers in the form of prompts, which can be either detailed or concise. Users now have the option to specify their preferred style of response.
By clicking on the three dots at the top right of Bard’s response, users can choose from five different options: Simple, Long, Short, Professional, or Casual. This feature is currently available in English and will be expanded to support additional languages soon.

Users can create a chat with Bard in a frequently asked questions (FAQ) format and later share it with peers.

For coders using Bard, an additional feature has been added to export Python code to Ripplet, alongside the existing compatibility with Google Colab. This enhancement expands the options available to developers using Bard as a coding tool. It’s worth noting that while Bard provides a convenient coding environment, users are advised by Google not to share sensitive or proprietary information with the AI chatbot.
With these updates, Bard aims to deliver enhanced functionality and usability, giving users a wider range of language options, image analysis capabilities, customizable responses, improved conversation management, and streamlined code export options.
