Paris: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who reached Paris on Thursday afternoon, was warmly welcomed by the overseas Indians. They warmly welcomed PM Modi, raising slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram”. Many people were seen taking selfies with the Prime Minister, while some sang songs and presented gifts to PM Modi.
It was a show of unity in diversity in Paris as people from different religions and different walks of life gathered at the hotel to shower love on PM Modi. An Indian woman dedicated a song to PM Modi and got emotional while taking a selfie with the Prime Minister. After PM Modi’s landing, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Bagchi said in a video message that PM Narendra Modi has just arrived on a visit to France.
He said, “Behind me, in a very special gesture, the French Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne has personally come to the airport to welcome the Prime Minister on a visit of almost 36 hours.”

The visit also marks the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the India-France Strategic Partnership.
