The Screen Actors Guild (SAG) strike has brought Hollywood to a standstill. Several projects have been stalled since the strike that began after talks with the Alliance of Motion Pictures and Television Producers (AMPTP) failed. AMPTP represents major production houses such as The Walt Disney Company, Netflix Inc and others. The strike reportedly aims to secure a new labor agreement with fair wages and better working conditions for the members. And now, Priyanka Chopra has extended her support to the ongoing strike. The actress shared a post on her Instagram with the caption, “I stand by my union and co-workers. In solidarity, we build a better tomorrow.❤️🙏🏽.”

Priyanka is a member of SAG, which means she will not be able to act in any film or promote any project worldwide till the strike is over. Meanwhile, the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) said it has offered a substantial increase in remuneration to SAG-AFTRA and Writers Guild of America (WGA) affiliates.
