With the help of his son, Ishwar Gaikar, and daughter-in-law, Sonali, Tukaram managed to sell a remarkable 13,000 crates of tomatoes within a month. As per the TI report, Tukaram, who has 18 acres of agricultural land, used 12 acres exclusively for tomato cultivation.
