Recently another picture clicked by an acquaintance of Dhoni went viral in which Dhoni could be seen standing between two people at his farm in Ranchi. Twitter users believed that the one standing right next to him was his elder brother Narendra. This picture became a topic of discussion as many people had earlier thought that MSD was not talking with his brother for a long time and he was also not living with him in Ranchi. No one can be sure whether the person in this picture other than Dhoni is his real brother or not.

However, there is an account in the name of Narendra Singh Dhoni, in which MSD’s elder brother performs some action stunts wearing shades. He can also be seen as the chief guest at a local cricket tournament. But all these pictures are from 2017. Dhoni’s fans can be seen asking Narendra about his whereabouts and whether he still lives with his cricketing legend brother.

It is also true that Narendra has never been seen publicly with his brother. MS Dhoni’s wife and daughter are a popular celebrity. Dhoni’s sister Jayanti Gupta played a big role in the early stages of his cricketing career. It has pictures of MS Dhoni’s father Pan Singh Dhoni and mother Devki Devi. Dhoni’s biopic ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ also featured the family without the elder brother.

Why is Narendra Singh Dhoni never seen with brother MS Dhoni?

In an old interview to Telegraph India paper, Narendra talked about his absence in his brother’s biopic, saying that he is not in the film as he doesn’t have a major role to play in his life and career. He said that the film is about Mahi and not her family.

Narendra also said that by the time Dhoni developed an interest in cricket, he had moved out of Ranchi to study at Kumaon University. Narendra said, “Though I may have a moral contribution to Mahi’s life, it would be very difficult to portray it in the film.”

Some reports say that Narendra was a politician. He joined Samajwadi Party in 2013. Earlier he was in the Bharatiya Janata Party. There is no update whether Narendra is still holding any post in the party. Narendra is married on 21 November 2007 and has a son and a daughter.
