Im Tongi’s performance leaves Katy Perry emotional
Im Tongi’s heart-warming rendition of the urban song left many in tears. While Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan better hid their emotions, Katy Perry, 38, was seen crying in her seat.
After Iam’s performance is over, Katy begins judging and she shares her thoughts. She said, “Can I just say one thing? Between you and Megan (Danielle) I had to grab a little tissue and fold it into a triangle because every time you come over and you sing the vibrations that come out of your mouth, it tears people’s hearts goes through and it just goes to them.”
He further added, “It affects us a lot. So when you sing, I’m ready to feel, baby.
Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan revealed that they too were nearly in tears by Im Tongi’s performance.
Katy and Luke couldn’t help but tear up again during Sunday’s second performance of iam.
