Shubman Gill’s purple patch in the Indian Premier League 2023 continued as Gujarat Titans’ star shone bright again against Royal Challengers Bangalore. The young right-handed batsman, who is being touted as the future of Indian cricket as Kohli, smashed a brilliant century against Faf du Plessis’ side to pave the way for Mumbai Indians to enter the play-offs.
The Gujarat Titans star’s knock won him praise from fans and cricket experts including Sachin Tendulkar, but his sister Shahneel Gill faced abusive comments on social media by some fans. Shubman Gill’s sister had taken to Instagram to share a picture and captioned it as “What a wonderful day”. The post received a lot of hate comments and derogatory comments for both Shahneel and the right-handed batsman after his heroic innings against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Sunday.

After hate comments surfaced on the comments section, several users took to Twitter to write in support of the brother and sister as they said “IIT Gratitude” is not forgiven after Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were threatened with rape. Should have done. His daughter Vamika.
Some fans slammed the RCB followers and called them “toxic fans”. Some users lauded both Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli for playing brilliant knocks for their teams in the last league game of Indian Premier League 2023.
See today’s tweets of Shubman Gill and his sister. Man that’s why I hate it when Kohli-Anushka forgives the “IIT graduate” who threatened Vamika with rape. Some of these people need to go behind bars and ruin their careers. They should have been made an example to stop all this.

Some of the sick Kohli fans abusing Gill and his family (especially his sister)
This toxicity and negative energy emanating from these wings called Sk is also a reason for the king not seeing the light:runner:

One of the main reasons I cannot stand RCB and hope they never win a trophy is because of their toxic fan base. Abusing Gil and now his sister and what Gil did was his job for the team that employs him.
