Ram Charan’s next, tentatively titled RC16 is with director Buchi Babu Sana. Though the film was announced sometime back, its shoot is yet to begin as the actor is busy with Shankar’s Game Changer. However, now the director has dropped a big hint by sharing a picture with the RRR actor. Looks like the actor and director duo have started working on the film.
Buchi Babu Sana shared a picture with Ram Charan on Twitter. He captioned the picture, “Exciting times ahead!!!! With our Global Star… @AlwaysRamCharan garu.” In the picture, Ram Charan is seen smiling brightly as he strikes a pose with the director. Fans were quick enough to take to the comments section and wish the director all the best for his next film with Ram Charan.
The first poster of RC16 was released by the director on Ram Charan’s birthday. Buchi Babu Sana shared the film’s poster to wish Ram Charan on Twitter on his birthday. The poster shows a beautiful sketch of Charan with a dark background. The director said during an event that he will showcase his love for Ram Charan through RC16 and fans will love it.
The team of RC16 clarified that the yet-to-be-titled film will be a fictional story that revolves around the game. The team rubbished rumors of the film being a biopic of a sports personality. Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is reportedly being considered as the female lead for the film. AR Rahman is expected to join as the music composer. However, an official confirmation regarding the cast and crew is awaited.
Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, the film is being made under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas and Sukumar Writings with a massive budget.
Meanwhile, Ram Charan has wrapped up shooting for the climax of his next Game Changer with Shankar. The shooting of the film is in its final stages and it is expected to wrap up very soon. Ram Charan is reportedly playing a double role in the much-awaited film. Kiara Advani is the leading lady.
The release date of the film has not been announced yet. Although the film was announced as an all India release, the first look poster indicates a Telugu and Tamil release. However, nothing has been announced officially.
