According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), light to moderate rainfall with heavy falls at isolated places very likely over western India during next 5 days over Konkan & Goa and Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra and Gujarat state during next 2 days There is a possibility of very heavy rain. ,

Heavy rains to continue in Uttar Pradesh, says IMD
The IMD in its daily weather bulletin has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall over East Uttar Pradesh on July 4 and 5 and over West UP on July 5. East UP has been receiving continuous rains since June 29 and its intensity is likely to reduce today. Heavy rains are likely to resume on July 4. The Meteorological Department has also predicted heavy rains in Uttarakhand till July 5.
IMD predicts very heavy rains in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka
Rain is likely over the southern states of Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu during the next five days. IMD has issued heavy rain alert for Coastal Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala during next 5 days.
Heavy rain very likely over South Interior Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema from July 3 to July 5; Telangana on 4th and 5th July. “Very heavy to very heavy rainfall is also very likely over Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu during July 03-05,” the IMD said.
Heavy rains to continue in Assam, Meghalaya
IMD has predicted widespread to widespread light/moderate rainfall over East and adjoining Northeast India. The IMD said that heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Assam and Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh during the next 5 days. Heavy rainfall very likely at isolated places over Bihar on 3rd July while heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely over Gangetic West Bengal on 2nd July; Jharkhand on 3rd July and Odisha from 3rd July to 5th July.
