Director Vetrimaaran’s assistant director and supporting actor Saran Raj passed away due to a car accident. The actor reportedly breathed his last after a fatal car accident in KK Nagar. According to reports, Palaniappan, a supporting actor, rammed his car into Saran Raj’s bike under the influence of alcohol.
Saran Raj met with an accident at 11.30 pm while traveling on Arcot Road in KK Nagar. It is being told that he was seriously injured and died on the spot. The people around informed the police and they lodged an FIR. Saran Raj’s body has been sent for postmortem.
During the police investigation, it is reportedly revealed that Palaniappan, who is a supporting actor in Tamil, drove the car in an inebriated condition and caused the accident. It is being told that he has been arrested by the police.
Saran Raj’s family and friends are in grief over the sudden demise of the actor. More details about his last rites and etc are yet to be awaited as the police are probing the matter.
