Rahim is a Consultant Psychiatrist, Chief Medical Information Officer at Surrey & Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Clinical Lead for Digital Mental Health in NHS England, and a Psychiatrist Core Trainee at Canon South London and Maudslay NHS Foundation Trust and King’s I am Clinical Research Fellow. The pair explain why they participated in the CCIO Mentoring Program, the challenges of maintaining a mentor-mentee relationship, and how mentoring has helped them grow in their work.
This is followed by a discussion of the lack of clear pathways for development for young people and aspiring CCIOs, before guests give their top tips and advice for those considering participating in the mentoring programme.
