Colin is one of the finalists who made it to the Top 3 on Season 21 of American Idol. Ahead of the finale, the young singer spoke to Hollywood Life and revealed what fans can expect from her final performance. In the interview, he revealed, “I’m definitely going to be a little bit everywhere with them, really.” Stuff explained his plans for the finale, “I’m not really narrowing it down to one genre. I’m just out there having fun. We all have to go home at some point.
With his performance of “Dancing on My Own” by Robin, Colin advanced in the running to become the next American Idol. Talking about his choice of song, the singer said, “Going into that song, I was looking at it like, this is going to be a make-or-break moment for me. It turned out super, super good.

Colin talks about his American Idol journey
Collin talks about his journey on the show and admits that American Idol has taught him “how to be a better person.” Stuff said, “Being able to get up and perform in front of an audience and have confidence that I never had has really helped me a lot. It’s great to know that I have fans who want to hear me.”
Collin will face off against Im Tongi and Megan Daniels in the final. Before the finale, Colin decides to take a trip to his hometown in Mississippi. “I didn’t think I had so many fans back home. It was really great,” he said in the interview. “It was just love and support from my hometown,” said the finalist. I’m not really winning it for me. I’m not really trying to win it for me. I’m trying to win for everybody.”
Colin opens up about his plans after American Idol; The young star said, “It has always been my dream to be in the music industry. I have a list. I have goals for my life like everyone else does, and I want to keep checking them off.
The American Idol finale is set to air May 21, 2023 at 8 PM EST on ABC.
