But it seems that Kriti Sanon, who played the role of Mother Sita in the film, has remained unfazed by the criticism. The actress believes in the film, and hence has decided to screen the film for the students of her alma mater.
As per reports, Kriti will screen the film for the students of Delhi Public School, RK Puram. Reportedly, she will also attend the screening along with her parents. A report revealed that Kriti has booked a show for June 21 at a multiplex in Delhi. As per reports, the actress believes that children will enjoy her film, which is based on the epic Ramayana. Even the students are excited for the event as they will get to watch a film of their alumni. Reportedly, Kriti will also interact with school children.
Meanwhile, the film which took a massive opening saw a downfall with each passing day due to negative publicity. On the fifth day of its release, the film earned only Rs 10 crore.
Directed by Om Raut, the film stars Prabhas as Shri Ram, Kriti as Sita Mata, Saif Ali Khan as Lankapati Ravana, Devdutt Nag as Lord Hanuman, and Sunny Singh as Laxman. The film was released in theaters on June 16, 2023.
