Lone man Released last week and opened to negative reviews and strong response, however, the film collected over Rs 300 crore in its first weekend. The audience and the internet are criticizing the film for poor VFX/CGI, dialogues and poor performances by the cast. Amidst all the negative reviews about Prabhas’ performance, the actor has now spoken about playing the role of Lord Ram.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Prabhas said that there were some apprehensions but no objections when it came to playing the role of Lord Ram. He added, “There were doubts, but no objections. Given the emotional and spiritual attachment people have towards Lord Shri Ram, portraying such a revered figure comes with a great responsibility.”

He further added, “The film revolves around the epic story of Ramayana, which is deeply rooted in Indian culture and religion. Hence, my approach was to portray this part with utmost authenticity and respect, as we all grew up listening to this story, and there are many emotional and spiritual aspects attached to it. Adipurush also stars Kriti Sanon as Goddess Sita, Saif Ali Khan as Ravana and Sunny Singh as Laxman.
Meanwhile, despite the backlash, Lone man It has reportedly collected Rs 340 crore worldwide within three days of its release. T-Series shared a tweet, claiming, “Adipurush continues to enthrall audiences across generations, crossing astonishing ₹340 crore opening weekend at the box office! Jai Shri Ram.”
