Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane pose on the red carpet of Cannes Film Festival

Anurag Kashyap is now in France for the world premiere of his film Kennedy at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2023. Anurag on Sunday shared a picture of himself and filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane on the red carpet on Instagram Stories. The two attended the premiere of Killers of the Flower Moon, which starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro.

Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya can be seen dressed in black tuxedos in the red carpet photograph. Sharing the picture on Instagram stories, Anurag wrote, “He has come!!! He has come. He has come for my film.” The picture was initially shared by Vikramaditya on his Instagram stories.

Meanwhile, Vikramaditya also shared a glimpse of the standing ovation Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon received at the Cannes Film Festival. The director posted close-up photos of Martin and actors Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio, in addition to a video of the audience at the premiere. Along with this, he showed a clip of the opening of the film.

Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap are in Cannes for Kennedy. It has been selected for the Cannes Film Festival midnight screening in 2023. Kennedy stars Sunny Leone, Rahul Bhatt and Abhilash Thapliyal in lead roles. The film revolves around an insomniac ex-cop, long thought dead, but still working for a corrupt system, and searching for redemption.
