Arshad Warsi has recently received a lot of appreciation for his portrayal of Dhananjay Rajput in Asur 2 and he is grateful for it. During an interview, the actor shared how he got his first film Tere Mere Sapne opposite Chandrachud Singh. The film was produced by Amitabh Bachchan’s production company.
Talking about this, she told that director Joy Augustine had offered her the film and said that the production house only wanted to see her pictures.
Arshad Warsi once told Joy that he was unsure about his acting skills and even admitted that he cannot act. He expressed his concerns about not wanting to be at the mercy of others, saying that he came to act and did not want to be known as someone who failed to succeed in the industry.
Later, Arshad Warsi shared that he had received a call from Jaya Bachchan and was worried that he might be fired. Despite this, he also thought that it would be an honor to be fired by Amitabh Bachchan’s wife. To his surprise, however, Jaya Bachchan only asked if he could speak in Hindi, and he nervously replied in English. He then reveals that he has been selected for the role.

Years later, Arshad Warsi asked Jaya Bachchan what made her choose him for the film, and she revealed that each of the 36 photographs she had sent to his team had a unique expression.
