The debate about nepotism has gotten every perspective and angle. From successful star kids to struggling outsiders, everyone in Bollywood has their own take on the subject. Recently, Balika Vadhu actress Avika Gor also jumped on the bandwagon and talked about nepotism.
However, the young actress had an interesting comparison to make. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, the 25-year-old body said that ‘South is all about nepotism and star power’. He also said that though nepotism is present in both the South and Hindi film industry, the audience is preferring not to see it in the latter ‘the way they are seeing it here’.

Avika also said that a prejudice has been created against Bollywood. He also recalled a phase in Bollywood where Hindi filmmakers were banking on South remakes. ”So people thought we just copied,” he said. Avika also did not hold back from talking about nepotism in the South film industry.
This nepotism is very much in front in the Telugu industry. I mean how are people choosing not to watch it? I think people have given all this a bit of hype,” questioned Avika Gor. The young actress also expressed hope on social media, relaxing the topic of nepotism over time.
