Ayushmann Khurrana’s father, astrologer Acharya P Khurrana passes away in Mohali

New Delhi: Actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Aparshakti Khurrana’s father and popular astrologer Acharya P Khurrana breathed his last on Friday. According to reports, he was battling a prolonged illness and passed away in Mohali, Punjab. The family has issued an official statement confirming the news. According to media reports, Acharya P Khurana was suffering from heart disease for some time and was also undergoing treatment for it.

The statement read, “We are very sad to inform that Ayushmann and Aparshakti Khurana’s father, astrologer P Khurrana, passed away today at 10:30 am in Mohali, due to a prolonged incurable illness. Indebted for all of your prayers and support during this time of personal loss.”

A report in India Today said that the last rites of the veteran astrologer were performed at 5:30 pm on Friday at the Manimajra cremation ground in Chandigarh.

Both Ayushmann and Aparshakti often share pictures with their father on social media, thanking him for his love and support. Ayushmann also credited her for helping him achieve his dreams.

Wishing him a birthday on May 18 in 2020, Ayushmann had written, ‘Happy birthday to the best father in the world! You gave me wings, talent and ambition. I will not tell your age to the world. can not believe. hail Hail.

Acharya P Khurana was quite popular in North India because of his contribution in the field of astrology. He hailed from Chandigarh, Punjab and wrote books based on his knowledge on the subject.
