Barbie’s makeup artist Ivana Primorac didn’t like the plastic look
While talking to E! News, Ivana Primorac said, that in the early stages of the film they “thought, ‘Should they have plastic stitches? Should they have plastic skin, plastic hair?’ In the end, we didn’t like all those things because in every child’s mind, Barbie is beautiful. So, once we created that fake image, she wasn’t beautiful.”
So instead he revealed that he focused on making Barbie and Ken as unique and unique as possible. Ivana continued, “What’s most beautiful is that everyone can be the best. To make them believable, relatable and doll-like, each and every Ken and Barbie has to be the best version of themselves. Everyone should have the best skin that suits them, everyone should have the best hair color that suits them.”

“Everything has a high end,” Ivana explained, stressing that the hair needed to be thicker, and the skin needed to look more radiant and glowing.

Difficulty getting the barbie look
The makeup artist explains that getting the perfect Barbie look was tough, “It was hard to cheat the makeup. I wanted her skin to look fresh at all times.”
