New Delhi: Released in 2013, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra-directed ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ completes 10 years this month and to pay tribute to Indian sprint legend late Milkha Singh, Viacom18 Studios COO, Ajit Andhare and ROMP Pictures’ executive producer PS Bharti will re-release the inspirational biographical sports drama in selected theaters on August 6. The film will be re-released in a special way for the hearing and speech impaired in 30 cities across India.
‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ was truly a cinematic gem of the Indian film industry, tracing the inspiring journey of the late Milkha Singh, played by Farhan Akhtar, and how he overcame many harrowing odds to become a world champion, Olympian and one of India’s most celebrated athletes. It is indeed a noble idea to bring this inspiring story back to the people, this screening has been kept for hearing and speech impaired people, they can buy tickets for the movie and enjoy this inspiring story in PVR theaters, which will be displayed with special sign language.
In addition, the special screening scheduled on 26th July for the hearing and speech impaired will be held at PVR Icon Andheri West, Mumbai and the artistes will come together to pay tribute to the late Milkha Singh.
