Britney’s ex Kevin Federline recently spoke to the Daily Mail and claimed he feared something might happen to the mother of his children and urged her to seek help about her meth addiction. Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, also expressed his concern, stating that he feared the singer would die like Amy Winehouse, who died of alcohol addiction. The singer took to Instagram to express her grief over her family “saying things that aren’t true.”
Britney Spears responds to rumors about meth addiction
Britney Spears took to Instagram to refute rumors about her addiction to crystal meth. She expressed how hurt she was by the lies made by her ex Kevin Federline and son Preston about the situation. Britney also talked about how the news “threatened” her. The caption accompanying the post read, “The fact that people are claiming things that aren’t true is so sad… Maybe they’re not even saying things because it doesn’t make sense.” “
Brittany talked about Preston and revealed that she tried her best to maintain a good relationship with him as well as her brother Jaden. She wrote, “With Preston saying ‘he has to listen to us before it’s too late’… do you remember every visit you came to my house, you went to your room and locked the door? I told you Never seen the guys…Jaden played the piano and we made music together. But the day I told him I wanted to see more of you guys, I never saw you again.
Britney further added that the news has always intimidated her and that the Daily Mail’s report is “just disgusting news” while hoping that Kevin, Preston and Jaden “have said any of those things.”
Kevin Federline denies Britney’s addiction rumor
Hours before Britney posted, TMZ released an exclusive with Kevin Federline claiming the Daily Mail was spreading fake news and revealed the report said nothing it claimed . Federline accused the Daily Mail reporters of “fabricating lies” and publishing the “heartache” his family endured. He also called out journalists for “exploiting” minors and called the reports “repulsive”.
Meanwhile, Spears recently mentioned meeting her sons. It was then that the news of her ex Kevin Federline moving to Miami made headlines. In a post on Instagram, Britney quashed rumors of ‘trouble in paradise’ with her husband Sam Asghari and hinted at meeting their sons.
