The market is mostly painted in the green in the last 24 hours as most of the cryptocurrencies are trading positively. This includes both bitcoin and altcoins.
The best performer is undoubtedly Stellar’s XLM, which surprised with a 23% explosion, so let’s dig deeper.
Bitcoin Is Above $30K, But for How Long?
Over the past few hours, the market has taken a positive turn, which has allowed bitcoin price to reclaim the important technical and psychological level of $30K.
At the time of writing, BTC price is above the mark, and the bulls are attempting to propel the price further.
This comes after the news that Tesla did not sell its BTC holdings for the fourth quarter in a row. The positive report seems to have eased some of the pressure on the market, which has sprung up. Bitcoin dominance currently stands at around 46.6%.
Altcoins in the green, Stellar (XLM) further with gains
As you can clearly see in the following heatmap, the market is performing very well today. It’s all painted green, which is never a bad look.
Most notably, from the large-cap cryptocurrencies, MATIC rose nearly 6%, followed by Ripple’s XRP at 5.41%, SOL at 4.7%, and so on.
However, the best performer over the last 24 hours is Stellar’s XLM. It has exploded by more than 20% during the entire period and is the overall market leader.
On the other end of the spectrum, we have Rocket Pool’s XRP, which failed to take advantage of the uptrend and fell 4% on the day.
