Although no one knows for sure whether a Mark Zuckerberg vs. Elon Musk cage fight is going to happen anytime soon, the two of them are still at loggerheads with each other online. Even before the launch of Metaz Threads, the billionaire boss of Twitter has been criticizing the app. Former boss Jack Dorsey was also not welcoming of Mark Zuckerberg’s reply on Twitter. Dorsey had previously raised objections to the data privacy of the Thread app. Elon Musk responded by agreeing to Jack’s tweet.

On July 6th the Thread app was unspooled to Lays and the app received over 30 million subscriptions within a day! This is not only a record, but literally a solid jak punch on Musk’s attempt to float a bird app hanging by a thread. Zak didn’t miss the opportunity to troll Twitter’s troll supreme by tweeting a Spidey meme on his account, for the first time in almost 12 years!

So how does Musk respond? a meme? No! A lawsuit, of course. Twitter has filed a lawsuit against Meta for illegal misappropriation of the company’s trade secrets and IP. Elon Musk’s lawyer Alex Spiro has sent a cease-and-desist letter to Meta Boss. Musk comments that competition is fine in every way, but stealing doesn’t make it any less. But did Zuckerberg steal? After Twitter’s tumultuous acquisition, following massive layoffs and many changes, a few apps emerged as the next Twitter. However, none of them made much of an impression, even as the user base of the Bird app grew over time. But at last there is a worthy contender who is backed by veterans.
Whatever it is, you’re here for the memes. Here are a few for your laughing pleasure.
