New Delhi: Cyclonic storm Biparjoy has weakened into a deep depression and is likely to further weaken into a depression. A deep depression has caused heavy to very heavy rainfall at many places over Rajasthan and the rains are likely to continue till June 18, 2023.
India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall with dew at isolated places and extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places over Jodhpur, Udaipur and Ajmer on June 17, while heavy rainfall over Bikaner and Jaipur today There is a possibility.
IMD issues red alert in Barmer, Ajmer, Pali
The IMD in its daily weather bulletin has predicted extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places over Barmer, Jalore, Pali and Sirohi districts on June 17, while Ajmer is likely to receive extremely heavy rainfall on June 18.

IMD predicts very heavy rain in Jodhpur, Udaipur
As cyclonic storm Biparjoy weakened into a deep depression, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Rajsamand and Naugaur districts in Rajasthan are bracing for heavy rains on June 17. Heavy rain is expected in Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Jaipur, Chittorgarh, Pratapgarh, Dungarpur, Banswara, Bumdi and Tonk districts today and rain is likely to continue for next 2 days.
IMD issues wind warning for several districts of Rajasthan
According to IMD, strong winds with a speed of 55 kmph are likely to prevail over South Rajasthan till midnight of June 17. Strong wind may damage plantation, horticulture and standing crops, IMD said
