In Rajasthan Congress politics, Udaipurwati MLA Rajendra Singh Guha is firm on his strong views even after being sacked from the Council of Ministers. Despite facing the consequences, he continues his criticism against Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Speaking to reporters in Udaipurwati, Guha once again hit out at Gehlot, questioning his ability to repeat the previous governments in 2003 and 2013. “At the age of 73, when he could not even save the government in 2003 at the age of 52-53, what can he achieve now?” He asked question.
Guha praised the honesty of Bharat Singh, saying that no other leader in the assembly matched his honesty. He expressed concern over Gehlot’s prolonged absence from the assembly and criticized the lack of investigation into the reasons behind it. He also pointed out that Gehlot avoids eye contact and changes his course to avoid facing issues. Guha raised eyebrows by remarking that while the police is busy with the Manthalia incident, Gehlot lacks time to address important matters concerning the public.
Regarding his meeting with Asaduddin Owaisi, Guha played down the encounter and insisted that it was a routine meeting. He criticized those trying to sensationalize it and denied any claim of meeting terrorists. Guha also questioned the selection process in the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), highlighting that many candidates from villages become thanedars (police station chiefs), while others who prepare for years still struggle to qualify.
