Devolver Digital’s Showcase Has Just Four Games, But They Look Good

Devolver Digital shared details and trailers about some of the projects in development during its latest showcase on Thursday. However, much of the presentation revolved around the tongue-in-cheek mascot, “Volvy”, a fictionalized history of the mascot’s influence on gaming culture, and the character’s “return” as a robot (VOLV-E). It was weird, but that’s the kind of thing Devolver does for its productions.

Devolver showed a trailer for wizard with a gun, a survival game with a theme that’s kind of like a fantasy game mixed with a western. You’ll have to gather resources, build buildings, and explore what looks like a large map. A demo is now available on Steam. The game is also coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and is set to launch sometime in 2023.

Devolver also shared very short trailer for human fall flat 2sequel to the third-person puzzler human fall flat, According to Devolver’s press email, “Each intricate level is packed with new toys and equipment as you solve fiendish puzzles on your own or in teams of up to eight friends.” Devolver didn’t share a release window.
