When asked if the questions on the factual authenticity of The Kerala Story as an artist make you question the content? Adah Sharma said, “The factual evidence they have about the numbers is going to come out soon. They didn’t want to do it earlier. Also because when you do it first people will say ‘hey now you are promoting this film to promote it’. Now this film has broken all the records and crossed everything despite facing criticisms. It is propaganda, regardless of what people say. Ada further said, ‘First people said that this is an election. Then 2 weeks passed, the third week was good, when all that happened people said it was propaganda. Then he saw real girls coming there, so he said ‘oh, maybe it’s a fake number’.
Talking about the fake numbers, Adah Sharma revealed, “Initially I found it really disturbing. It really shook me because I was like human life we are talking about. In the beginning I used to get so hyper that human life is so cheap that we can just put it in numbers because it’s not just a person who is our person in that statistic. As soon as that number is your sister, your mother, your girlfriend, or your friend, I don’t think people will be talking about 3 or 32. ,
