Mumbai: The Shiv Sena (UBT) will hold its first executive meeting after the split in the original Shiv Sena in Mumbai on June 18, a party source said on Wednesday. He said Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray would speak at the meeting to be held in Worli area. The decision was taken at a meeting of district presidents of the party here.
The source said that office-bearers from across Maharashtra, from the taluka level above, would attend the meeting where the political way forward and organizational strengthening would be discussed. Thackeray will also address a gathering at Shanmukhananda Hall here on June 19, the foundation day of the original Shiv Sena.
The party will also organize ‘Chavadi Andolan’ across the state next month, where its workers will tell people how the recent Supreme Court verdict came in favor of the Thackeray-led group.
