The trailer for Fortnite Wilds has been released by Epic Games at the Summer Game Fest event. The trailer shows off new game play features and a tropical theme. Sloan will also be returning in the new season of Fortnite.
It has been officially announced that Optimus Prime is joining the Fortnite world as part of Chapter Four, Season Three. A trailer was also released for the chapter at Summer Games Fest Live, which is themed WILDS. In the trailer, the characters can be seen entering the jungle riding on the backs of Velociraptors. The temple grounds light up and display the Autobots logo and then Optimus Prime as well as rideable dinosaurs.

As the characters head to the temple, they find a younger version of Optimus Prime, confirming that at least some of the Transformers characters have been made available as playable characters in Fortnite’s ever-evolving companion. New weapons in the game also include the Flapjack Rifle, Thermal DMR, Transformers-themed Bazooka Cannon and Kinetic Boomerang. New flora and fauna include Slurp Plants, Stink Flowers, Wildwasps, and Bomb Flowers.
This new update brings a major change to the game. The falling away of the central area reveals the new WILDS landscape. With the update releasing on Friday, June 9, 2023, fans will be able to experience Optimus Prime and the dinosaurs themselves sooner. The updated Fortnite will be compatible across all platforms including Xbox, Android, PlayStation, Switch and PC.
