Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh: Outrage has erupted after a video showed a man being forced to lick another man’s feet inside a moving vehicle. This incident has created a big controversy in the area. According to news agency PTI, the Madhya Pradesh Police has arrested two people in connection with the incident. The incident came to light amid a heated debate over the incident of public urination in Madhya Pradesh’s Sidi.
An official said that both the victim and the criminal are residents of Dabra town in Gwalior district. A video viral on social media shows the victim being slapped repeatedly by another man in a moving vehicle, who can be heard forcing the victim to say, “Golu Gujjar is my father.” Thereafter, in the video, the victim is being forced to lick the feet of the perpetrator. It is clear from the video that the victim was forced to do this act. In another video clip, the accused can be seen repeatedly hitting the victim’s face and hurling abuses. In another incident, the accused is seen repeatedly kicking the victim in the face.

State Home Minister Narottam Mishra said two people have been arrested in connection with the incident. Dabra Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Vivek Kumar Sharma said, “A video of a man being thrashed in a vehicle surfaced on social media on Friday evening. The video clip is being sent for forensic examination.” Sharma further said that after receiving a complaint from the victim’s family, a case was registered against the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for kidnapping and assault. Earlier this week, a video surfaced on social media showing a tribal youth urinating on himself in Sidi district, triggering widespread anger.
Accused Pravesh Shukla was arrested on Tuesday after the video of the incident surfaced on social media. In another incident on June 30, two Dalit men were allegedly thrashed by members of the minority community in Warkhadi village of Shivpuri district, on suspicion that they had harassed some girls and made videos of them.
