New Delhi: The 76th Cannes Film Festival is here and so far Bollywood celebrities like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Esha Gupta, Manushi Chhillar, Sara Ali Khan, Urvashi Rautela, Mrunal Thakur have graced the red carpet. Adding more to the list, Haryanvi dance sensation and former Bigg Boss contestant Sapna Chowdhary also made a mark at the prestigious event and made her red carpet debut. Sapna is the first regional artist from the Indian film industry to walk the red carpet. The popular dancing sensation is the first Indian actress to have collaborated with one of the biggest French branch ‘Air France’.
A few hours ago, Sapna took to her social media and shared a few pictures from her trip to the Cannes Film Festival. She shared some candid pictures from her red carpet appearance and gave her fans and followers a glimpse of her appearance.
The actor opted for a heavily embroidered pastel pink contemporary co-ord look. The shimmering soft pink mermaid gown had detailed work with fur on the sleeves. She styled her hair in a sleek bun, and went for minimal accessories. Sapna opted for subtle makeup with the elegant outfit.
He captioned the post as, “Debuting at Cannes 2023, dreams do come true. It’s been a long journey filled with sweat, sacrifice and determination, but it’s all been worth it. Thank you to everyone who made this possible.” Also, I am so thrilled to be walking the red carpet in collaboration with @airfrance.”
As soon as these pictures surfaced on the internet, fans and friends took to the comment section of Sapna Chowdhary to praise her. Hina Khan, who was Sapna’s co-star in Salman Khan-led show Bigg Boss 11, also commented on Sapna’s pictures. Hina wrote, “Sapna, so proud of you.” She left another comment and wrote, “Muuuuuuh (heart emoticon).”
Sharing her excitement about her debut at Cannes, Sapna said, “I am extremely grateful and really looking forward to walking the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. It feels like I am showcasing my culture and heritage on this international platform. I’m going to represent my roots.” I am extremely excited and hope to make everyone proud.”
