Once you’ve selected the template, you’ll be taken back to the board creation popup, where you’ll want to change the name of your board (as it auto-populates the name with the name of the template). Select the workspace to place the template (or leave it as the default) and click Create.

Your new board will appear, and you can start using it right away. However, you may want to rename some of the columns. For example, the default columns are Backlog, Design, To-Do, Doing, Code Review, Testing, and Done. Let’s say you are not a programmer and want to remove the code review column. To do this, click the three-dot menu in the upper right corner of the Code Review column and click Archive this list. You can then rename the rest of the columns simply by double-clicking on the name and typing a new one.

Congratulations, you are now one step closer to a more organized life. Kanban boards are incredibly helpful and simple to use. With them, you’ll have a look at the exact location of each task on your creation’s timeline.
