A terrible thing happened the other day – I dropped my iPhone in water. Now iphone 14 It has been given an IP68 rating, which means the device can go down to a maximum depth of six meters for 30 minutes, so it was no big deal. Well, except that I noticed the speaker was badly clogged afterwards. Obviously some water had entered inside.

Now, the water wasn’t going to damage anything, and I could just leave the iPhone to dry. But the muffled speaker made making and receiving phone calls annoying while I was waiting. I needed a way to get the water out of the speaker.
Apple Watch has a feature Uses sound waves to drive water out of the speaker, This is a cool and effective feature that silences the tiny speaker on the Apple Watch with a few beeps.
Unfortunately, the iPhone has no such feature built-in. But I found a way to add it, and you can even trigger the feature using Siri.
Here’s how to add this feature.
we’re going to use a shortcut called water out To clean the speaker. Go to the page on your iPhone and tap on Get Shortcut.
This step will open the Shortcuts app. You can add shortcuts by tapping Add Shortcut, This process also tells you that saying “Hey Siri, eject water” will activate the shortcut.
Then tap the intensity level you want to use — Level 1 will run the process once, Level 2 will do it twice, and Level 3, roughly, will run it three times. The shortcut will then start emitting a tone from the speaker.
the important thing is don’t do that Wear headphones when you run this shortcut.
If you are in doubt about how powerful this process is, put your face near the speaker outlet and you will feel the strong air vibrations generated by this tone.

And it worked for me, clearing the water out of the speakers and bringing the audio back to the quality I expected.
