Hrithik Roshan wants to meet Jr NTR in the battlefield, hints for ‘War 2’

New Delhi: The Greek God of Bollywood is abuzz with speculations of Hrithik Roshan working with South star Jr NTR in the upcoming action-drama ‘War 2’. Fueling speculations, Hrithik took to social media on Saturday and dropped a major hint about the much-awaited pan-Indian film of our times.

Taking to Twitter to wish Jr NTR on his birthday, Hrithik quipped that he wishes to meet the ‘RRR’ star on the battlefield. He tweeted, “Happy Birthday @tarak9999! Wishing you a joyous day and an action-packed year ahead. Waiting for you on the Yudhbhoomi (battlefield) my friend. May your days be filled with happiness and peace… till We meet (wink emoji) puttina roju subhkanshalu mitrama (happy birthday my dear friend).”

Jr NTR and Hrithik’s fans were delighted to see the latter’s tweet.

It is to be noted that Hrithik’s 2019 release ‘War’ was directed by Siddharth Anand, who recently helmed Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham’s blockbuster ‘Pathan’. Siddharth is working on his next film ‘Fighter’ which stars Hrithik along with Deepika Padukone.

The buzz is that Hrithik is gearing up for ‘War 2’, which will be directed by Ayan Mukerji. Yash Raj Films is yet to confirm Jr NTR’s acting in the film. While announcing the film last month, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh ​​had tweeted that ‘War 2’ would be the seventh film in the YRF Spy Universe and would follow the events of ‘Tiger 3’. However, no official statement has come from the makers about this yet.

The first installment ‘War’ featured Hrithik opposite Vaani Kapoor and Tiger Shroff in a double role. The film was a hit at the box office. ‘War 2’ is expected to be a big budget all India action extravaganza.
