Johnny Depp and Jeff Beck friendship
Johnny and Jeff first met in 2016 and became good friends after bonding over music and cars. The pair also toured Europe when they started playing together in 2019. Johnny and Jeff also released a 13-track album, performing a few concerts together last year. Johnny was “completely devastated” according to the report, as they were “extremely close” and shared a “really close friendship”.
A source spoke to People magazine after the star’s death “the illness came on really quickly, and it all got worse fast.” Beck talked about how he hasn’t had “another creative partner” like Johnny “for ages”. Describing his friend, Jeff said, ‘He was a huge force on this record. I hope people take him seriously as a musician because it’s hard for some people to accept that Johnny Depp can sing rock and roll. After this, Johnny said that he was “privileged enough now” to call Jeff “brother”.
