Know why Sonakshi Sinha will not be a part of shows like Paatal Lok, Mirzapur and Sacred Games

Sonakshi Sinha’s recent series debut, Reema Kagti and Ruchi Oberoi’s thriller Dahad, in which she played the role of a policewoman named Anjali Bhati, was widely appreciated. Sonakshi, on the other hand, has said that though she likes crime thrillers, she would not sign more explicit thrillers like Mirzapur, Sacred Games and Paatal Lok.

Sonakshi made her debut in 2010 in Abhinav Kashyap’s blockbuster action comedy Dabangg opposite Salman Khan’s cop Chulbul Pandey as Rajjo. Though she has faced successes and failures, critical acclaim and flak over the years, her performance as Anjali Bhati in Roar on OTT was universally praised.

In a recent interview, Sonakshi was asked which streaming show she would like to be a part of, to which she replied, “So there are a few that I have liked – Paatal Lok, Sacred Games, Mirzapur. But I don’t know if I will be able to fit into any one of them (laughs). They are somewhat obvious. But I really enjoyed watching them.”

In the interview, Sonakshi said that she is a fan of crime thrillers and documentaries.
