Lahari Pathivada, a 25-year-old Indian-American woman who went missing from Texas earlier this month, was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Saturday. Her body was discovered 322 miles away in Oklahoma on May 13, a day after she disappeared on her way to work.
A resident of McKinney in Collins County, Texas, she was last seen driving a black Toyota in the area of El Dorado Parkway and Hardin Boulevard in a Dallas suburb. When she did not return home after work on May 12, her family got worried. Her family and friends in Oklahoma reportedly alerted the police after tracking her phone.
The update was shared on social media by the WOW community group in Texas, which helped spread the word about her disappearance. No further details were given as to what circumstances led to the discovery of his body on 13 May. According to her Facebook page, she worked at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. She graduated from the University of Kansas and attended Blue Valley West High School.
