Manoj Bajpayee Says Bollywood Films Don’t Work As Short Time On Script: ‘Pay Attention…’

Manoj Bajpayee has proved his mettle with his performances over the years. The actor recently headlined web shows on Amazon Prime Video and Netflix as well. Not only this, his recent OTT films have also received love and appreciation from the audience. In an interview with Goodtimes, when the actor was asked why films are not doing well on streaming platforms as well, he explained the reason, and we couldn’t agree more.

Speaking about the same, the actor said that the reason is “right within you.” He said everyone is trying to find a “mantra” for everything. He further elaborated that people are looking for something that will make them successful. However, Manoj added that things don’t work that way and suggested that you be honest with your work. He added that the most important thing is that “we should focus on the story.” He further added that it is important to spend time writing a good script. He revealed that his recently released film Banda (Banda) had 18 drafts.just one guy is enough, He said that good things take time. Referring to his earlier releases, Gulmohar, the actor said that it took three years to make that film. Manoj said that he always wondered how people keep on making things.

He said that mediocrity emerges when people start creating content consistently. He said that when one looks for the formula, normality will emerge in the picture. He said, “It means you are not true to your creative self.” The actor concluded his reply by saying that things don’t happen that way.
