In a recent match of MPL 2023, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Kings (CSK) captain Rajvardhan Hangergekar put up an exceptional batting display. His display of skill and dominance not only amazed the spectators but also contributed to his team’s victory. Hangargekar played a key role in CSK’s victory against Eagles Nashik Titans in the MPL 2023 match. Titans had set a target of 196 runs, which set the stage for a tight contest.
With CSK needing 52 runs to win, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Kings were under pressure. However, Hangergekar remained calm and unleashed a flurry of powerful shots that left the opposition helpless. With three consecutive sixes, he changed the course of the match brilliantly. The ball rose high and cleared the boundary ropes, eliciting thunderous applause from the crowd. Hangergecker’s impressive performance left no doubt about his ability to dominate the game, demonstrating both power and accuracy in every stroke.
Unfortunately, Hangekar’s impressive innings came to an end on the fifth ball of the over. Nevertheless, his impact on the sport had already left a lasting impression on the audience. His explosive batting had turned the tide in CSK’s favour, leaving the Titans in tatters.
In a rain-affected thriller, Eagles emerged victorious over Nashik Titans Chhatrapati Sambhaji Kings, thanks to a brilliant all-around performance from Kulkarni. With a brilliant score of 60, opener Kulkarni played a key role in helping Rahul Tripathi-led Titans post a total of 195 for six after being put in to bat.
Due to rain interruptions, the target for CSK was revised to 157 runs in 15 overs as per DLS method. In the final over, CSK skipper Rajvardhan Hangergekar struck late. However, Kulkarni, bowling at medium pace, restricted the opposition to 16 runs in the final over. Despite failing to get the required runs within 15 overs, Titans emerged victorious by a margin of 4 runs.
